SaveOnResorts.com (SOR) Announces Management Changes

International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. (ICE) is excited to announce the promotion of Jeff Zotara as Chief Digital Officer, reporting directly to the CEO, Brian Fontana.  Jeff will take responsibility as Managing Director of SOR and the leader of the Carlsbad office.  Jeff joined SOR in 2015 as the Chief Marketing Officer and has made a significant impact.  We believe he will make an even greater impact across the entire company in his new role.

Jeff’s promotion follows the decision of Kevin Schneider and Elliot Springer to step aside at the end of the month and turn over their responsibilities to the management team, which is now integrated with the rest of the organization.

We want to extend our heartfelt wishes to Kevin and Elliot as they move on to their next endeavors.  They founded SaveOnResorts Technology (SOR) more than 15 years ago and have built an impressive company, which then joined the ICE family in early 2019.  Working with a strong team in Carlsbad, they built a thriving business.  We are confident that the team in Carlsbad will help write the next successful chapter.  The business is set up for continued growth, particularly building on the combination of strengths across our various operations at SOR, ICE, and We Make People Happy.  Our combined digital platforms are key in our future growth plans.

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Kevin and Elliot for their entrepreneurship and building SOR to what it is today.  Their impact on the travel industry has been significant.  They’re leaving the business with a solid foundation to enable future growth,” said Marty Cole, Chairman of ICE.

Brian Fontana, CEO at ICE, added: “Kevin and Elliot have built an impressive and highly scalable business, as well as an excellent team.  We have been impressed with the talent in Carlsbad and can’t wait to see our organizations fully come together to build on each other’s strengths.”
