Connectivity, automation and the end-to-end traveler experience

The travel industry will continue to expand its mobile solutions as connectivity increases with the mass adoption of technology, arrivia Chief Technology Officer Firasat Hussain shares in the video below.

With connectivity will come greater automation. The industry is already seeing this via chatbots for customer service and self check-in kiosks for hotels and airlines, which help the customer complete more tasks themselves. But according to Hussain, automation will enable seamless end-to-end experiences where different travel providers can “speak to one another” to ensure every touchpoint in the customer journey is tailored to their individual wants and needs.
